I worked at Action Park in Vernon, New Jersey, from the age of 12 to 16. My first job was simple, just use a kickpan to pick up trash all day. The park seemed crazy at times, but overall normal. Until years later. In 2012, the film Action Point, starring Johnny Knoxville, was released loosely based on Action Park. In 2020, a higher quality film Class Action Park was released on HBO Max.
Eventually, I worked my way up to a Condo Housekeeper position, $4.50/hr or something like that.

I worked at Congruent Machine Co. in Vernon, New Jersey. Jerry Only's family owned the company. Jerry Only was the Misfits’ bassist and was directly involved in the factory’s operations right after the Misfits broke up in the early 80s.
They were crafting precision tools. Jerry has talked in interviews about how those factory years helped him raise his family and eventually fund the Misfits' reformation.
The Misfits are a legendary punk band that has influenced many music genres, not just punk.
Looking back, it's wild to realize I had a front-row seat to a hidden chapter of punk rock history — a moment when one of the most iconic underground bands was figuring out what came next.
