This map may seem simple, just sign counts by neighborhood, but it reflects a more complex effort. Using ChatGPT early on, I helped develop a 5-year replacement schedule that evenly distributed signs by neighborhood, year, and Council District. The result came together quickly with minimal revisions. 

This map explores the history of Lynwood Park, Brookhaven’s historically African American community, highlighting segregation-era boundaries and community landmarks. Created using ArcGIS, it combines historical research with geographic storytelling. 

If a patient's residence is located within a hotspot, we are 90, 95, or 99% confident that the area has a statistically significant cluster of patients compared to the rest of the New York City Area. 

North Fork Peachtree Creek is located within DeKalb, Fulton, and Gwinnett counties, Georgia.

A Spatial Analysis of Health Disparities Associated with Antibiotic Resistant Infections in Children Living in Atlanta (2002–2010).

Schools located near the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro, on the border between Kenya and Tanzania. There was a 'snowball's chance' that this might turn into a field visit, but it didn't happen.

This map was created for GIS Day 2017 and showcases different natural landscapes from across the United States using Landsat 8 satellite imagery. My favorite is #7, where you can see an active volcano and lava fields. Fun fact: I've visited all of these locations except #5, Mount Rainier — hopefully one day!

Brookhaven, Georgia. This map illustrates the Peachtree Creek Greenway trail at various stages of completion. The trail follows the North Fork Peachtree Creek, and the HUC-12 watershed boundaries are used cartographically to highlight the creek corridor and educate the public about the entire watershed. Local advocates for the trail have used this map for many years to promote the Greenway and continue to do so today.
